Sanctions Screening for Trust Companies and Registered Agents
Watchtower screens every person and entity you act for against 14 government sanctions lists on the day you add them and then every day, every week or every month. Plans start at $195 a month.

The Sanctions Lists
Watchtower downloads each list from the government body that publishes it and matches your parties on our own systems. The names you screen go to no outside screening service. Your dashboard shows each list with the date it was last updated.
- OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list (United States Treasury)
- OFAC Consolidated list (United States Treasury)
- United Nations Security Council Consolidated list
- European Union Consolidated list
- United Kingdom Sanctions List (FCDO)
- United Kingdom Russia financial and investment restrictions (OFSI)
- Consolidated Canadian Autonomous Sanctions List (Global Affairs Canada)
- Australian Consolidated List (DFAT)
- Swiss sanctions list (SECO)
- Singapore terrorism designations (TSOFA First Schedule)
- Singapore designated Russian banks (MAS Notice SNR-N01)
- Belize Consolidated list (Financial Intelligence Unit)
- Virgin Islands Domestic Designated Persons (Financial Investigation Agency)
- Barbados High Court designation orders (Financial Services Commission)

Names and Results
You enter each party with its date of birth and nationality and with any former names and aliases you hold for it, and Watchtower screens every one of those names.
Each result is Clear, Review or Match. Clear means no list returned a match. Review means a name matched, or is close in spelling to a listed name, and your compliance officer should look at it. Match means the name and the year of birth both matched.
The Review Queue
A Review or a Match goes to a review queue which shows your party beside the list entry it matched. Your compliance officer records the decision and the reason for it, and Watchtower prints both on the certificate. A decision that the entry is a different person applies to every later screening of that party, and later certificates state that you reviewed the entry and ruled it out.

Certificates
You receive a certificate for each screening of each party that states the date and time, the lists and the result. Each certificate is a PDF file that is locked against editing and digitally signed, which allows your regulator or auditor to confirm that it is unchanged since Watchtower issued it.
Imports and Single Checks
You can import your book from a CSV file, an Excel file or a Google Sheet, with up to 100,000 parties in one import. A single check of one name costs $3, requires no account and comes with a certificate.

Starter covers up to 500 parties for $195 a month. Firm covers up to 2,000 parties for $395 a month. Institution covers up to 10,000 parties for $795 a month. Every plan includes sanctions screening, PEP screening, certificates and reports.
